Parent Advocacy and the Culturally Different GT Learner

Parents of the Culturally Different GT learner are well-equipped to share with GT educators regarding the needs of their children. This session will address techniques and strategies that can be used in providing a forum to facilitate mutual parent/GT educator collaboration. What can parents of GT dual language/multicultural learners share with educators and what do parents of these students need to know. The goal of this session is to explore the nature, content and goals of parent workshops.
